Topshop Lipstick & Eye-liner | Review

Hello Everyone!

So I don't usually tend to shop in Topshop, as I find they can be quite expensive. However after receiving a gift card for Christmas I thought that I would try out some of their make-up range.
I didn't really have any decent dark coloured lipsticks, so I decided to go for this deep berry colour 'The Damned'. This cost £8 which is good for such a nice lipstick. I would say it stays on your lips for around 2-3 hours, which isn't too bad but then it begins to ware off, but there's nothing wrong with re-applying throughout the day. It goes on really smooth and leaves your lips moisturised, which I really love as I find that most lipsticks tend to dry out my lips. It looks great worn on its own or with a lip gloss on top for extra shine. I really love this colour, I think it is now one of my favourite lipsticks, and I will definitely be buying another one soon.
I think I payed around £7 for this felt-tip eye-liner. I really loved this eye-liner because the pointed applicator makes it really easy to draw straight lines which makes drawing wings much, much easier. It goes on really bold without having to go over it multiple times which is great becuase it means the liner lasts longer and is totally worth the money. I found that it also stays put for ages, if I apply it before i go to school in the morning it stays on all day until I take my make-up off to go to bed. It also doesn't run or smudge like a few of the other eye-liners I have tried and it dries really quickly when you apply it so you don't leave smudges on your upper eye-lids. The one thing that I have to fault with this product is that it sometimes doesn't sit well depending on what eye-shadow I have on. If i am wearing a lot of eye-shadow I find they I have to go over the lines a few times before the colour is bold enough.

Overall i think both of these products are great and totally worth the money. I love the quality of the products and the simplicity and elegance of the packaging.

Have you tried anything from the Topshop beauty range? If so what is your opinion on them?

Hello again!

(source)
Hello Everyone!

So... as you can tell I haven't blogged in quite a while. I have some excuses as to why but I won't bore you with them. However, taking a little break from blogging (especially after doing blogmas) has given me time to think about the type of things I want to share on my blog. So from now on my blog will be a lot more lifestyle based as opposed to beauty.

Also my sister, Laura from Laura's All Made Up, has very kindly spent a lot of time designing my blog for me. I am really happy with how it looks and really appreciate how much time and effort she has put into it!

So already this year is going really fast and I can't believe its already March! This year is a big one for me as it is my last year of secondary school! However, before I leave still have to revise like crazy for the next few months and then sit my exams! And somewhere inbetween all of this I have my school prom which should be fun... I am also completing my Silver Duke of Edinburgh award this year so ill keep you posted on that. As much as I am looking forward to starting college, I am more excited for the few months break I get inbetween where I plan on doing nothing but watching tv, eating lots of food, catching up on sleep and blogging for the whole holiday.

I have already got a few posts in mind and I am hoping to post at least once a week from now on.
Be sure to let me know if you follow me on gfc or bloglovin' and leave a link to your blog in the comments and ill be sure follow you back! xx

What I got for Christmas | 2014

Hello everyone!
I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and New Year!

So I have seen a lot of people doing this post and thought I would join in. I absolutely love all of the presents I got for Christmas and want to thank everyone who bought me one.
I did also get a few other bits and pieces from my parents such as a onsie and and big fluffy cardigan, but i was wearing them when i was taking the photos. I also got a lot of sweets and food but i had already eaten those ;D  I really liked the dress from primark, and i chose to wear it Christmas day, i don't wear too many dresses but i really liked the pattern on this one. I also really enjoyed all of the films as well.
I absolutely loved all of the bath stuff from Lush, it all smells so nice. Also I finished Girl Online 2 days ago, and it is a really good book. I might may do a review on the things from Lush and Girl Online in the next few weeks. For the past few days i have been burning the Yankee tarts and the candles non-stop - they also smell really nice!
It's safe to say that I really enjoyed Breaking Bad ( I finished the whole series in around 3 days) I just couldn't stop watching it. I might also do a review on this if anyone is interested and is thinking about maybe watching it. I have been really getting into all of the TV series lately like Breaking Bad, American Horror Story and so on. I have just started watching The Walking Dead too.

What did you get this Christmas? If you have also done this post then fell free to leave the link down below as I would love to check it out!
